The Westin Long Beach revealed its $23 million renovation project to a select groups of guests Thursday evening, July 25, including the introduction of its new dining concepts — Navy Proof Food & Spirits and Bluestone Lane.
Guests got to experience the remodel of the hotel’s modern lobby, with white marble floors, tree canopy rugs, custom art and brass lighting. The art and sculptures featured throughout the hotel drew inspiration from sea floor topography from Long Beach to Catalina Island, emulating California’s vibrant, scenic coastline.
Adjacent to the lobby was the new Navy Proof Food & Spirits, a concept creation from Howe & Brown Hospitality, offering guests and locals craft cocktails, and cuisine highlighting locally sourced seafood and meat.
Bluestone Lane, on the ground floor, is an Australian-inspired coffee culture hub, serving premium coffee and healthy food options.
